








Excelia International Institute is aimed at international and French students wishing to learn French or English, prepare for higher studies or develop an international academic or professional project. The programs are open to students in pursuit of studies, young graduates and professionals, with intensive, flexible formats and evening courses adapted to the schedule.
The level required depends on the program and the start date. For the International Foundation Programme, a minimum A2 level is required for a start in September and B1 for an entry in January. For Summer Schools, a minimum A2 level is required. The intensive French (FLE) and English programs welcome learners from beginner to advanced levels, after a positioning test.
Excelia International Institute offers flexible courses, from 2 weeks to a full academic year. School starts several times a year (September, January, June or July) and some programs include evening classes (18:30 — 20:30) adapted to students and working professionals.
Courses are taught on Excelia campuses in La Rochelle and Paris, according to the program chosen. La Rochelle offers an ideal environment for linguistic immersion, while Paris offers an international experience in the heart of a major academic and cultural center.
Yes. French as a Foreign Language programs are labeled Qualité FLE, an official recognition issued by the French authorities. At the end of the course, students obtain an Excelia International Institute certificate, valuable for further studies or a professional project.
